This is my first post. Think about your father and then read. If you like it I would write some more...
jo din tha kabhi, woh dhal gaya
jo hai abhi, woh shaam hai
abhi usse ab jana hai
abhi usse kuch kaam hai
woh darakhat tha hara-bhada
jo shukta chala gaya
maine usse chus ke khokla kar diya
patte sare jhad gaye
parinde bhi sab ud gaye
bachi hui tehenio pe ab nazar hai meri
par usse gila nahin
na hi koi umeed hai
bas usse afsos ke tehnia jyada nahi bachi
kehte hai kabhi-kabhi woh khwab tha koi dekhta
neend main kabhi-kabhi woh naam leta tha mera
magar main toh masroof tha jindgi ke daud main
magar main toh masroof tha darakhat banne ki hod main.
First of all Congratulation for this new beginning.

ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of one of the poems in my primary school days - "The Giving Tree". And, your poem showed me another way to understand that poem as well.
You could have translated it or summarized it in English at the end to reach more audience, because good things shall be shared with as many as possible.... :) What say?
Thanks Sowjee. I am not sure whether I continue posting my writings or not. But if I do, I will definately add summary to it for proper understanding.
